Christians WANT to Believe in Lawless Grace

YHWH NEVER Promised to Abolish His Laws

FACT: There is not a single place in all of Scripture where YHWH Almighty to abolish His Standards, His Laws, or His Commandments. In fact YHWH Almighty promises the OPPOSITE. The Almighty promises that His Laws, His Commandments, His Instructions, His Ordinances and, His Decrees will endure FOREVER, and that they are EVERLASTING’ (Isaiah 40:8; Psalm 119:89-91; Psalm 119:142; Psalm 119:151; Psalm 119:160).

The prophets NEVER prophesied that YHWH’s Laws would be abolished

FACT: In Amos 3:7, YHWH Almighty PROMISES that He will NOT do ANYTHING without first REVEALING His Plans to His servants the prophets.QUESTION: So, I respectfully challenge every modern-day Christian out there who believes that it is now okay, “Under Grace,” to do the OPPOSITE of what YHWH commands us to do. Please, SHOW ME THE PROPHET who prophesied that after Messiah died to make atonement for us, that it would then be okay to do the direct OPPOSITE of what YHWH requires us to do.FACT: There is not a single Prophecy of Scripture that teaches that when Messiah is made atonement, what Yahweh declared to be evil would now be good, and what he had forever declared to be good would then become evil. No prophecy of Scripture prophesies that YHWH Laws and Commandments will be abolished when Messiah has made atonement. So, YHWH NEVER promised that His Laws and Standards would EVER be abolished, and the prophets NEVER foretold such a thing. In fact, FAR FROM ABOLISHING His Commandments, the prophets foretold that YHWH’s Words and Standards would ENDURE FOREVER; and YHWH would CHANGE US to AGREE with Him. He’s NOT changing to agree with us, but He will CHANGE US to agree with Him, if we submit to Him and allow Him to do so. (Isaiah 40:8; Deuteronomy 30:6; Ezekiel 11:19-20; Ezekiel 36:25-27; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Philippians 2:13)

YHWH Almighty NEVER Promised to remove or abolish His Laws, Commandments and, Standards, but He did promise to CHANGE US, so that we would agree with YHWH, and be able to obey YHWH.”

Messiah NEVER taught that YHWH’s Laws would be abolishedFACT: Messiah NEVER taught that after He made atonement for us, we should then BREAK YHWH’s Commandments, and that the Almighty Father would be PLEASED for us to do the OPPOSITE of what HE Commanded because we are under grace through Messiah. In fact, Messiah taught the OPPOSITE of that false doctrine, (Matthew 5:17-20; Matthew 7:21, 23; Matthew 12:47-50; Matthew 13:41-42; Matthew 19:17; Matthew 24:12-13; Matthew 28:19-20; John 8:34-36; John 12:49-50).

The apostles NEVER TAUGHT the Lawless Grace doctrine

FACT: The apostles NEVER taught the lawless grace doctrine either. It only APPEARS that way to some people. If you do a study of the term lawlessness in the New Testament, you will find that even the apostle Paul preached AGAINST LAWLESSNESS; Paul preached AGAINST anomia, MORE than any other apostle in the New Testament. I have personally found 19 solid BIBLICAL arguments where Paul was CLEARLY NOT teaching AGAINST KEEPING the Torah of written Scripture, as most Christians believe today.

Modern Christians are EAGER to believe the lawless grace doctrine, NOT because the Weight of Biblical Evidence supports it, [It clearly DOES NOT], but they eagerly receive that false doctrine, because it already agrees with what the sinful nature WANTS to do.”

The Bereans COULD Easily Bear Witness against Modern Christians

FACT: We know that the Bereans were more fair-minded than those of Thessalonica. That is to say, that the Bereans were at least willing to listen to what Paul had to say and search for the truth, before passing judgment on Paul and his message.FACT: We know that after Paul’s teachings, the Bereans diligently searched and examined the Scriptures daily to determine whether Paul’s teachings were true or false.FACT: We know that as a result of their biblical searches the Bereans came to BELIEVE Paul and his message, along with a number of prominent Greeks, both men and women.FACT: We know that at the beginning of this account, the Bereans were NOT yet believers that Jesus, (YAHSHUAH) was and is the Messiah. That came later.FACT: We know in the first century, when these events took place in the book of Acts, there was NO New Testament. The New Testament was not even compiled until after 300 A.D. so the only Scripture that the Bereans have had available for them to search would be the Old Testament, [Genesis through Malachi]. Moreover, in the beginning they were not believers in the Messiah yet, so they couldn’t have regarded anything in the New Testament to be, “Scripture,” in any event. So the ONLY Scripture that the Bereans would have searched daily to weigh and measure Paul’s teachings, would have to be the Old Testament.FACT: There is NOT a single Old Testament prophecy that when Messiah or the Son of Man has suffered to make the atonement, that YHWH Almighty’s Laws, Commandments, Ordinances, or His Instructions; will be abolished, suspended, removed or done away with. There is NOT a single prophecy of Scripture that teaches that when Messiah has come, it will now be okay to BREAK the Almighty Father’s Commandments; or to do the OPPOSITE of the Father’s Instructions; or that it will be okay to adapt pagan religious customs for godly worship; or to change the Sabbaths of YHWH; or to eat abominable things as foods, or anything else of the sort.DILEMMA: IF Paul was TRULY teaching AGAINST obeying the Instructions and Commandments written in the Old Testament, as so many modern Christians traditionally believe today, then HOW were the Bereans able to PROVE that Paul’s words and teachings were TRUE, after searching the Old Testament on a daily basis?

FACT: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that believers could change the Sabbaths according to your own individual personal convictions, [as many modern Christians claim that Paul was teaching when they mis-read and misinterpret Romans 14], the Bereans COULD NOT and WOULD NOT have believed Paul’s message after searching the Old Testament daily; because the Old Testament clearly states that YHWH’s Appointed Times, including His Sabbaths are ETERNAL Regulations, (Exodus 31:13; Exodus 31:16-17; Leviticus 23:1-3)FACT: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that believers should NOT honor or celebrate the Biblical Feasts of YHWH, [as many modern Christians claim that Paul was teaching when they thoroughly MISREAD and MISINTERPRET Colossians 2], the Bereans COULD NOT and WOULD NOT have believed Paul’s message after searching the Old Testament daily; because the Old Testament clearly states that YHWH’s Appointed Times and HIS Festivals, are ETERNAL Regulations, (Leviticus 23; Deuteronomy 16). In fact, if you read Colossians 2 in good context, you can see that Paul was actually ENCOURAGING the Colossian congregations to continue to KEEP the Biblical Feasts of the LORD, and not to be discouraged by the pagans who were around them, who were criticizing and judging them for not keeping THEIR traditional pagan festivals. Colossians 2:8 highlights this point.FACT: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that believers could now MIX pagan festival days, pagan customs, pagan decorations, pagan mythologies, and pagan traditions with Godly worship and adapt them to honor Yahweh and to honor Messiah, as so many Christians today assume that Paul was teaching, the Bereans COULD NOT and WOULD NOT have believed Paul’s message after searching the Old Testament daily; because the Bereans would have seen that this is expressly forbidden, (Exodus 32:1-10; Leviticus 18:1-5; Deuteronomy 4:2; Deuteronomy 12:1-4, 8, 29-32; Hosea 8).FACT: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that that there are SEPARATE covenants of redemption and practice for native born Jews, as opposed to Gentile born believers, as so many Christians today assume that Paul was teaching, the Bereans COULD NOT and WOULD NOT have believed Paul’s message after searching the Old Testament daily; because the Bereans would have seen such a doctrine was completely FALSE according to the Old Testament which they were searching daily, (Exodus 12:49; Leviticus 24:22; Numbers 15:15-16; Isaiah 56:1-7).FACT: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that, YHWH’s Eternal Laws, Eternal Commandments Eternal Ordinances, and His Eternal Instructions were now abolished and done away with at the cross, and so it is now okay to do the opposite of what YHWH Almighty has commanded believers to do; there is NO CHANCE that the Bereans would have believed and accepted Paul’s message at all, after searching the Old Testament daily; because the Scriptures that the Bereans searched on a daily basis taught the COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of such a doctrine, (Isaiah 40:8; Isaiah 59:21; Psalm 105:8; Psalm 119:89; Psalm 119:142; Psalm 119:151; Psalm 119:160).CONCLUSION: IF Paul was TRULY teaching that believers should DISOBEY YHWH’s Eternal Commandments in the Written Old Testament, as many Christians so eagerly assume today, the Bereans simply COULD NOT and WOULD NOT have believed Paul’s message after searching the Old Testament daily. The simple reality that the Bereans came to BELIEVE and to accept Paul’s message AFTER searching the Old Testament daily, simply means that Paul WAS NOT and COULD NOT be teaching AGAINST the Written Old Testament, as so many Christians WISH to believe that Paul was teaching.

Since the Bereans BELIEVED Paul’s Teachings AFTER searching the Old Testament daily, there is NO CHANCE that Paul was truly teaching AGAINST obeying the Old Testament.”

I believe that the Bereans could easily be witnesses against us and against the lawless grace doctrine of modern Christianity in the courts of Glory.Brother Robert Michel Lankford
